Professor YanFeng Wang, Ph.D., is a doctoral supervisor and currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the Director of the Suzhou Artificial Intelligence Institute, and the Deputy Director of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Future Media Networks. He is a member of the National Development and Reform Commission’s Artificial Intelligence Expert Committee and an expert group member of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s “New Generation Artificial Intelligence” Major Project under the Science and Technology Innovation 2030 initiative. Professor Wang received his master’s and doctoral degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2004 and 2009, respectively. His primary research areas include artificial intelligence, commercial applications of emerging information technologies, and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. He has published one monograph, authored over 30 high-level domestic and international papers, holds more than 10 authorized invention patents, and has applied for over 50 national invention patents. He has been honored with the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (First Class), the Fifth Wang Xuan News Science and Technology Award of China, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television’s Outstanding Contribution to Technological Innovation Award, the Shanghai IT Rising Star Award, the Shanghai May Fourth Youth Medal, the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Top Ten Model Workers Award, and the President’s Award of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
